Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how https://aistackdb.com/ ("the site"), operated by 루모메이트(LumoMate) in South Korea ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the site or contact us. It also describes the choices you have.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.
Who is responsible
The data controller for personal data collected through the site is 루모메이트(LumoMate). For privacy questions, contact hello@aistackdb.com. Where South Korea requires a registered representative or data protection officer, that information will be added here before publication.
What information we collect
We try to collect the minimum information needed to operate the site.
- Information you provide directly. If you email us at hello@aistackdb.com or corrections@aistackdb.com, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any information you choose to include.
- Information collected automatically when you visit a page. This may include your IP address (or a truncated form), your user agent, the page you requested, the referring page, the approximate region derived from your IP, and a timestamp. This information is recorded by Cloudflare Web Analytics and, where applicable, by the hosting provider for
aistackdb.com. - Cookies and similar technologies. The site may set first-party cookies for site preferences and may permit third-party cookies set by Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google AdSense where ads are served. The current cookie list will be documented in a cookie notice on the site before publication and is not exhaustively enumerated here in this template.
We do not knowingly collect special-category personal data (health, biometric, political opinion, sexual orientation, religious belief). Please do not send us this kind of data through the contact channel.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Serve the requested pages and operate the site.
- Understand which pages are read and which are not, using Cloudflare Web Analytics, so that editorial effort is directed at content readers actually use.
- Where applicable, allow Google AdSense to deliver advertising. Ad selection and any personalization are controlled by that provider's settings; see the provider's own privacy notice for details.
- Respond to your contact emails, corrections, and rights-holder requests.
- Detect and mitigate abuse, including spam and automated traffic.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their independent marketing.
Advertising
If Google AdSense is configured for this site, how advertising loads depends on where you are, and page content is always readable either way — ads never block the page:
- In the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (and whenever we cannot determine your region), advertising is off by default. No advertising code runs and no ad-serving request is made when a page first loads; a consent notice asks whether you want to allow third-party advertising served by Google AdSense, and advertising loads only after you actively choose "Accept". This is opt-in consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- Elsewhere, approved ads load automatically when a page opens, without a consent click. You can opt out at any time using the "Ad & privacy choices" control shown wherever ads may appear; opting out removes the ads and is remembered on your browser. We do not describe this automatic loading as GDPR consent.
- A choice is honored everywhere. If you decline, no ads are loaded and no ad-serving request is made in any region; if you accept, ads may load in any region. We do not offer a separate "non-personalized ads" mode: the choice is simply to load ads or not.
- To classify your region we use our hosting provider's own edge signal (the country your network connection resolves to). We do not send your IP address to any third-party geolocation service, and your browser only ever receives a coarse region classification.
- Your choice is stored locally in your browser (in local storage on your device) so it can be remembered on that browser. You can revisit, change, or reset it at any time using the "Ad & privacy choices" control.
- Where advertising is active, third-party vendors including Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may also be able to opt out of personalized advertising through independent industry programs such as the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance, where available in your region; those programs are operated by third parties, not by us. See the provider's own privacy notice for how it selects and personalizes ads.
If no ad provider is configured, this section does not apply. Affiliate-link status for the site is recorded as none and is also disclosed on each page where it materially applies; see Editorial Policy.
Legal basis for processing
Where South Korea requires a legal basis to be identified:
- Operating the site and responding to contact: legitimate interests, and contract performance where applicable.
- Analytics: consent where required, otherwise legitimate interests in understanding readership.
- Advertising and personalization: consent where required by law.
- Legal compliance: legal obligation.
How long we keep information
Contact emails are retained as long as needed to handle the conversation, and then either deleted or archived in a way that minimizes further use. Analytics data is retained per the default retention setting of Cloudflare Web Analytics at the time of collection, which will be documented on the site before publication. Server access logs are retained for a short operational window for abuse mitigation and then deleted or rotated.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@aistackdb.com from the address associated with the data, or describe the request in enough detail that we can verify and act on it. We do not charge for legitimate requests. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or deleting personal data.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the contact channel, please email hello@aistackdb.com and we will delete it.
International transfers
The site is hosted on infrastructure that may be located outside South Korea. By using the site, you understand that information described above may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, the operator uses recognized transfer mechanisms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date in the Update log below. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
